With the reopening of the shops there will also be a positive look at the next season! The spontaneous consortium of snowboarding companies announces the new dates of the Back to the Roots Snowboard Tour for the season 2020/2021. The BTTR Tour is the best opportunity to try, compare and get advice from the various managers of each brand – if you have any doubts about what equipment to buy or are simply curious about something new for the season, this is the best chance!
The BTTR is now in its fourth edition and also this November the BTTR family will get back on track to bring over 200 boards and almost as many bindings in the very first weekends of the season, but also to gather the snowboard community to a transversal and inclusive event!
Academy, Arbor, Bataleon, Burton, Borealis, Drake, Funky, Giro, Lobster, Jones, Never Summer, Nidecker, Nitro, Oakley, K2, Rome, Ride, Yes and Slash are the brands that are part of the BTTR family and that will be present at every date of the tour, and we in Sequence will be present at all stages!
Get organized with a group of friends and your trusted shop and try to participate in at least one of the stages of the tour – trust that it’s worth it!
The first appointment of the BTTR Snowboard Tour 2020 will be in Solda in South Tyrol on 7/8 November. The test village will be set up at 2800 meters and the slopes of the area, usually particularly snowy at the beginning of the season, will reach 3250 meters! In the last few seasons, this weekend’s membership has increased exponentially, becoming a real opening of the season with test boards, first turns in the fresh air and opening skis in full South Tyrolean style!
The stage of Cervinia is the most “historic”, for several seasons now (well before the existence of this tour) the penultimate weekend of November at Plan Maison is dedicated to testing boards and bindings in front of the Matterhorn. The Cervinia area certainly needs no introduction and at the beginning of the season can offer emotions that few others can give! On Saturday night Monster Energy (main sponsor of the entire tour) will organize an after party in one of the many clubs in the resort!
Madonna di Campiglio is carving out the role of “the Italian capital of snowboarding”, and for the first opening weekend she will immediately confirm her candidacy by hosting the 17 tents of the BTTR in the middle of the Grostè cableway. What better occasion to visit Campiglio? To complete the “atmosphere” in the last editions on Saturday evening has always been animated by aperitifs and video premiere in the village.
With the new year it will be the turn of Ovindoli, which after the unfortunate 19/20 season we are convinced will welcome the tour with the best snow ever!
