Test: Northwave Decade

Test: Northwave Decade

Northwave calls it a pack animal, but we prefer to call him the trotting champion.

If there is one thing that cannot be objected to Northwave boots, it is their comfort. All models share that same comfort that only a company immersed in the territory that historically gives life to the best mountain boots in the world can guarantee. And the Decade is no exception. We would like to talk for a moment about the effort that the Treviso company has made from an aesthetic and finishing point of view. If before it was necessary to put them on your feet to appreciate the execution quality of the boot, now the quantity of details and finishes suggests what you are going to try and prepares end users very positively for the test. The upper both in the front and back sees a protective rubber panel that avoids unstitching or damage to the eco-leather, the embossed motifs on the side, the lace hooks, everything has been finished in a truly worthy way. But let’s move on to the test. Northwave’s Superlace works well and is easy to operate, safe and solid when riding. Comfort is what immediately stands out but they also reveal excellent support and sensitivity, which makes them perfect for a freestyle use or even all mountain one.

For: All mountain

We Like: Extremely comfortable, easy to straighten/fasten, very beautiful and well finished, worth every cent of its price.
